What happens to my personal information after I submit my application?

Scania will register the personal details given in your application as well as any further information that you supply relevant to the application, interview and all information that we obtain from a third party, such as previous employer, other references, credit companies, security companies and other sources. Your personal details may be shared with other companies within the Scania group, if you have qualifications relevant to available positions there and have submitted a general application.

The details will be stored for three years from when the decision regarding recruitment has been made for the position you applied for. If you are applying for more than one position and update your application, the details are saved for three years from the decision affecting the last appointment. For general applications, the details are saved for three years from the submitted application.

You can add, update, modify and delete any information relevant to you at any time. This is most easily done by sending an e-mail.
